From April 6–10, I had the opportunity to be part of an incredible project in Ankara, Turkey:
“Sport For All: Promoting Inclusion and Combating Discrimination Against Persons with Disabilities” — a joint initiative running from March 2025 to August 2026, organized by the Council of Europe and the European Union.
🍀Participants included representatives from sports organizations, national federations, ministries, clubs, coaches and athletes with disabilities from Greece, Turkey, Ukraine and Serbia.
🇷🇸 I am happy that I had the chance to meet people from Serbia, hear their experiences and exchange ideas. I learned so much and came back home enriched with truly valuable knowledge and inspiration.
💪🏼The focus of the project was on inclusion — exploring inclusive coaching methods, accessible sports facilities, and anti-discrimination policies as well as identifying barriers, pressure points and responsible institutions.
Thank you to the Council of Europe, the EU and Sport for All for this inspiring opportunity 🙏
🥰 Special thanks to all participants and workshop leaders for such meaningful discussions.
I’m excited to integrate everything I’ve learned into my growth and development as a coach, psychologist and member of my club’s organizational team 💫
